MINUTES POLICY
LIBRARY FACULTY ASSEMBLY AND
ITS COMMITTEES
II. D.1. It
is the responsibility of the secretary of every Library Faculty Assembly
committee and every subcommittee of a Library Faculty Assembly committee to
provide a copy of the minutes of every meeting, upon publication, to the
Secretary of the Library Faculty Assembly, who will maintain a log of minutes
distributed throughout the year. The Secretary will maintain copies of approved
minutes and other related documents and deposit paper copies with University
Archives at the end of the fiscal year.
II. D.2.
Those persons to whom minutes of the standing committees of the Assembly
are to be distributed are specified in the By-Laws of the Constitution of the
Library Faculty, number I, paragraph 5.
II. D.3.
Those persons to whom minutes of the Library Faculty Assembly and its
Executive Committee are to be distributed are specified in the Constitution of
the Library Faculty, Article IV, Section 2.
II. D.4. Each
committee will adopt a unique letter code to be followed by the current fiscal
year and a consecutive number for each meeting.
Example: LFA for Library Faculty
Assembly, LAAC for the Library Administrative Affairs Committee, LFAC for the
Library Faculty Affairs Committee, etc. For example, the first meeting of the
Library Faculty Affairs Committee in September 1997 would be: LFAC 97/98-01.
