PROMOTIONS, TENURE, AND LEAVES COMMITTEE

II. L.1. One committee shall be elected each year to serve as promotions, tenure, and leaves committee.

II. L.2. Members should hold the rank of Associate Librarian or Librarian and be tenured. The Dean, Associate/Assistant Dean (s) are excluded since they have input at an administrative level.

II. L.3. The committee shall consist of five members elected by the Library Faculty.

II. L.4. This committee shall be elected concurrently with the Faculty Assembly each year.

II. L.5. The names of the persons with the next highest votes shall be recorded as alternates to serve on the committee should a member of the committee be disqualified to serve.
