The meeting came to order at 8:40 a.m. in the Browsing Area. No objections were voiced to Karen Evans volunteering to be chair and Maribeth Slebodnik volunteering to be secretary.

No charges for the committee have been received from the Library Faculty Assembly. It is anticipated that charges will be forthcoming shortly.

We agreed to meet the third Thursday of each month in Rolland McGiverin’s office at 8:30 a.m. The semester’s meetings will thus be on:

October21

November 18

December 16

January 20

It is expected that much of the work of the committee will be accomplished via email and that the meetings will be brief.

The meeting adjourned at 8:45 a.m.
