Discussion of Charges

  • Report on status of past charges
    • 05-03 Review of areas of responsibility in Faculty Manual
      • Action
        • Karen will send the committee the latest revision
        • The committee will review the document for the next meeting
    • 05-05 Promotion Tenure Oversight Committee (PTOC) Document
      • Action
        • Discussion of the history of the document
        • Review of the LFA Minutes relating to the document
        • Meribeth will get the latest version of the document from Marsh Miller and distribute it to the committee
    • 05-13 Review of Library Grievance document
      • Action
        • The committee will review the document for the next meeting
  • Contact the Dean of Library Services regarding proposed revisions to the Tenure, Promotion and Annual Performance Review Form (TPAPR)
    • Examine the proposed revisions in light of:
      • The University Handbook
      • The PTOC Document
      • The ALA Model Statement of Criteria and Procedures for Appointment, Promotion in Academic Rank, and Tenure for College and University Librarians.
    • Action
      • Maribeth is waiting for a response to e-mail she sent asking the Dean for clarification of her concerns relating to the TPAPR
