Cinda made a motion to accept minutes as amended.

A. Position description for Associate Dean of Library SASC Director replacement (EAP). LAAC will meet on this

B. Add grant writing to promotion & tenure-Charged to LFAC

A. Consulting of librarians should only be conducted under the following circumstance:

1. with permission of supervisor no pay-

2. Or take a vacation day

3. Take personal time

                    Some discussion pros and cons of consulting

B. List of volunteers to chair the Associate Dean of Library, SASC Director search committee was presented to the LFA.

Motion was made to accept four names

VI. Remarks from Library Dean

a. The Dean was asked to present information about collection development, philosophy of libraries and departments and organization, etc. Send suggestions to Anthony by Wednesday

b. New person in administrative office-be here for 8 months and will be Joan’s assistant.

Marsha-Take Back the Night event tonight plus a Powerpoint in front of the fountain

Free memberships for students who want to join AAUP-Women. Free to join until graduation

Hine-Alliance for Servant Leadership-next Monday. This would be a good discussion group to join.
