Minute Proceedings of Vigo Lodge No 16 B. L. F.
(Terre Haute Ind September 3d 1875 Friday)
Meeting called at the usual order, and in the absence of both Master and V. M. Brother Ebbage was elected to fill the chair. The following appointments were made for the evening.
Bro Kerlin as Vice - Bro Mullen as F. S. Brother Warren as Treasurer - Brother Bennett as Warden - Brother White as I. G. Brother Ganey as O. G. Brother McNutt as Chaplain and Brother Daly as P. M. The lodge was then opened in form and declared ready for business.
1st The Roll of Members was called
2d Minutes of preceeding meeting read and adopted

4th Brothers were instructed to visit Brother Southard

14" Regular motion made and seconded that we should meet Sunday September 12th at 2 Oclock P. M. in special session, to nominate and elect delegates for the coming Convention - Carried - The following charges were prepared by the entire lodge against Brother James Kelly -
That said Brother had been given One Dollar by Harvey Reed with application, and that the Dollar was not received in the lodge, and also that Brother Kelly had used abusive language toward the members of the lodge, in direct violation of the governing rules. The R. S. was instructed to notify the Brother at once. Resolution proposed by Bro Debs and adopted That- We should thank Dr. B. F. Mullen for services rendered in the death of Brother Kelly, and to be informed thereof by the R. S. - closed
