The Lodge met in special session.
Worthy Master Fox occupied the chair.
The meeting being opened in due form the minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
The committee on the application of G. E. Viquesney reported favorably and the report was concurred in and the Committee discharged. The Lodge then proceeded to ballot for the candidate. The ballot being clear the candidate was declared elected. Frank A. Rose applied for membership into the Order, but as he had not fired a locomotive the requisite length of time and was not at present actually employed as fireman the Lodge did not entertain the proposition. 2 containing the issue of Death Claims Nos
48 -- 49 & 50 was read. The said claims were ordered paid on a basis of $21.00
A bill of $2.00
from the Grand Lodge for 3 receipt books and 100 circulars was read and allowed.
The Committee on the resolution of sympathy in the death of Brother Thomas Long submitted their report.
The report was read by the Secretary and concurred in unanimously.
The Committee in the matter of the resolution of to Mrs. I. M. Stevens for the altar cover presented to the Lodge also reported.
The report was unanimously concurred in The chair then declared nominations in order for Magazine Agent for the ensuing year. A. J. Mullen was placed in nomination for that position. There being no further nominations Bro. Mullen was unanimously elected to that position.
The meeting then adjourned.
