Terre Haute Ind. Sunday January 8^th 1882

The Lodge met in regular session.

Worthy Master Fox occupied the chair.

The meeting being opened in due form the roll of officer was called after which the minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.

The following bills were read and allowed:

Report of Officers

The financier submitted his quarterly report for the quarter sending December 31^st 1881 but as the said report was not certified to by the three Trustees it was referred to the said Trustees for approval and to be reported back at the following regular meeting.

The chair declared the following members expelled for non-payment of dues:

L. Burgess -- G. M^cGaughey -- Jacob Romans --H. Greeson -- Thomas Monahan -- Chas. Bissell A. J. Mullen and Fred Mullen.

Ball Report

The Committee of the 8^th Annual Ball submitted the report as follows:

Total	$150.⁴⁵
Expenditures	85.¹⁵
Balance	$ 65.³⁰

In motion the foregoing report was concurred in.

Insurance Claims

Death Claims N^os 51 -- 52 & 53 were read and ordered paid on a basis of $21⁰⁰ each.

New Business

A By Law was introduced making the dues of the Lodge 50 cents per month per member for the year ending December 31^st 1882

"

A By Law was also introduced setting the regular meetings at the 2^d & 4^th Sundays in each month and calling the same to order at 2 OClock P.M. sharp.

The foregoing By Laws were laid over for action until the following regular meeting.

Withdrawal Cards

David De Wolf applied for a final withdrawal card -- he being engaged in the sale of intoxicating liquor. The withdrawal card was granted.

James Robinson applied for a withdrawal card to join W^m F. Hynes Lodge N^o 48. Granted.

The Lodge then adjourned.
