The Lodge met in regular session with Worthy Master Fox in the chair. The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.

Propositions for Membership

A. Gorden recommended by Will Larr

        The foregoing application was referred to a Committee consisting of Bros. Van Cleve, Gurney and Sack for investigation.

"

Reports of Committees

The Committee to whom had been referred the charges against Brother A. Hunt for drunkenness reported that they had tried the accused but had not found sufficient evidence against him to convict him. They therefore recommend the dismissal of charges.

On motion the report was concurred in and the Committee discharged.

"

The Committee to whom had been referred the matter of looking into the alleged charges against Harry Baugh of drunkenness reported that after a through examination they found that the accused was guilty of the charge -- having been drunk and taken off his engine about September 15th .

On motion the report was concurred in and the Committee discharged.

The Committee of investigation to whom had been referred the application of P. A. Kellogg, E. C. Miller and Frank Crookshank reported favorably on the said applicants.

On motion the reports were concurred in and the Committee discharged.

The Committee on Resolution reported suitable resolutions of thanks to Miss Lizzie Jeffers for the two beautiful banners presented the Lodge. The resolutions were adopted and the Committee discharged.

"

Balloting for the Candidates

P. A. Kellogg, E. C. Miller and Frank Crookshank were balloted for and duly elected.

"

Brother S. M. Stevens presented his withdrawal card for deposit.

The card was balloted for and Bro. Stevens admitted to the Lodge by deposit of card.

"

Bills for allowance

The following bills were allowed: --

Spiegel Thomas & Co. -- 1 Desk for Financier Indianapolis Ind -- -- $12. 00 Grand Lodge -- for stationery -- 1.25.

"

Good of the Order

Robert Ebbage preferred charges in writing against Brother Harry Baugh for having been drunk on or about September 15th.

The charges were referred to a Committee consisting of Brothers James Smith, J. F. OReily and Frank Smith, James Dodson and Chas Flaherty. "

On motion of Brother Ebbage a committee was appointed to investigate reports that had been bought into the effect that Bros Fred Mullen and Wm Dodson had been recently guilty of drunkenness.

Brothers Van Cleve, Wm Davis and Ebbage were appointed as such Committee

"

The Committee appointed in the matter of securing a new hall -- the hall of Mr. Mancourt, was directed not to take the hall at the terms of $7500 per year as offered.

"

The meeting then adjourned.
