The Lodge met in regular session with Worthy Master Fox in the chair.

The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.

Propositions for Membership

M. J. Cunningham was proposed by Bro. Copley.

        The foregoing proposition was referred to a Committee consisting of Bros. Scott, E. A. Stevens and Payne for investigation.

Reports of Committees

The propositions of Thomas Crusen, Edwin Mc Griff, Albert Cook, C. M. Thock and R. M. Watson were reported back by the Committees to whom they had been referred with the recommendation that they be admitted to the Lodge.

The reports were concurred in and the Committees discharged.

Balloting for Candidates

Thomas Crusen, Edwin Mc Griff, Albert Cook, C. M. Thock and R. M. Watson were balloted for and duly elected to become members of the Order.

"

Communications

A Communication signed by J. H. Van Cleve and Jas. Southard was read, setting forth that Wm Dodson had drunk on 26th of January.

As there were five trustees in the room who rectified that the charge was true and the accused having admitted his guilt to the worthy Master, and as this was his second offense, he having been suspended for the first offense, the Master declared him expelled from the Lodge for drunkenness.

Bills

A bill of 90¢ in favor of the Grand Lodge, for three receipt books, was read and allowed.

Reports of Officers

The Financier submitted his quarterly report of receipts and disbursements for the quarter ending Jan. 31st 1883. The report showed receipts as follows.

        The report being endorsed by the trustees the same was approved by the Lodge.

Miscellaneous

The January assessment of W. Cadle and Wm Barr were ordered paid by the Lodge.

Motion made & carried that the Committee appointed to make the arrangements for the ensuing anniversary celebration be paid according to the time and pay of the several members composing it, whether they be engineers or firemen.

"

The meeting then adjourned.
