The Lodge met in Regular session
Worthy Master E. V. Debs in the chair the minutes of the last meeting were Read and approved
Proposition for Membership
The name of Ruben W Kilnes was proposed for membership by Chas Bennett the proposition was Refered [sic] to Brothers Lahey Ebbage & Larr
The committee on arrangements for the Anniversary of the Lodge Reported that the expenses were $50.
33 cash Receipts were $11
00 leaving a balance of $39
33/100 the bill was approved by the trustees
Robt Ebbage committee
The Bill for express charges for Photos of Locomotives & yards
of Picture of card amounting to $1
25 approved by Robr Ebbage & O E Fox carried
The com to whom was Refered [sic] the charges of Bro Payne asked till the next Regular meeting the committee was granted further time
Admission of Candidates

m Dennis was duly admitted to full membership in this
lodge
Bills of Chas Bennett for 2 Roundtrips which he lost in acting on the committee on arrangements for the Anniversary amounting to $11
70 and also a bill of James Smith for 9 day services amounting to $18

Communications
A communication from Bro S H Quakenbush stating that he was taken sick on 25 Nov 1883 and was down sick until Jan 15 1884 it was moved seconded & carried that he be allowed March assessment & dues up to July
It moved sec & carried the Office of Vice master be declared vacant
Election of Officers
Bros Larr Gross & Lahey being nominated for Vice Master and Bro Larr having received a majority of all the votes cast was declared elected & motion the election was made unanimous
Instalation[sic] of Officers
Bro A Larr was duly installed by the worth [sic] Past Master after which Bro Larr took his seat
Resolution
Whereas it has always been a matter of uncertainty in the minds of the members of N
o 16 as the proper Renumeration [sic] due members serving on the various committees appointed by this Lodge therefore be it
Resolved that from and after this date March 9
th 1884 or until further action by this Lodge & that the sum of three dollars $3
00 per day be paid each member of the committee for each actual days labor on such committee that he may be appointed to serve on The Resolution was adopted by a unanimous Rising vote
