The lodge met in Regular Session Worthy Master E. V. Debs in the chair the minutes of the previous meeting were not Read on account of the Secretary not having them present

Application for Membership
The names of Wm Barr Harvey Brunk, Arch Shewmaker Martin Kraus & Ed Cain and Refered [sic] the following Committee. Ernest Sherburne M E Glenn & Bro Coopley

Reports of Committee
The committee to whom was Refered [sic] the application of Robt F. Tate Reported favorable and the ballott [sic] being spread he was declared duly Elected

Admission of Candidates
Thos Ward and M H Murray were duly Initiated as members of the B of L F and Vigo lodge No 16.

Communication
A communication was Read from our Worthy Master E. V. Debs and Wife thanking the members of Vigo lodge for the kind Reception tendered them on the 15 inst and also for the beautiful furniture presented them. All of which they Returned their heartfelt thanks. The Communication was Received and ordered placed on file

Bills
The following bills were presented and allowed Bill of Chas Bennett for services as Financier for the quarter Ending August the first $1250 also bill for 200 Assesment [sic] Receipts 60¢ Also the bill of $2230 which was incurred in giving Bro Debs a Reception

Election of Officers
The name of O E Raidy was presented for Master and there being no other candidate he was Elected by Acclamation Bros. Debs & Arnold having positively declined
The name of Wm Sherburne for Vice master was also presented and there being no other Candidate he was Elected by Acclamation There being no other Candidates for the Office of Secretary John F O'Reilly was Elected by Acclamation Bro Chas Bennett was Elected Financier of the lodge by Acclamation The following trustees were Elected J. D. Early Ernest Sherburne and Frank Smith Bro Harding and Miller were nominated for Magazine Agent and Bro Harding Received a majority of all the votes he was declared Elected for the year 1886. The names of Ed Miller J F O'Reilly E Sherburne Frank Gross and Frank Smith were nominated for Delegate to the Convention and after the Second Ballot Bro Ed Miller Received a majority of all the votes was Elected Alternate
First Ballot
Miller 20 O'Reilly 13. Sherburne 3. F Smith 2 F Gross 2 The 2 nd Ballot Miller 22 O'Reilly 13 F Smith 2 F Gross 3 The Master selected the following staff. Chaplin M E Glenn F. Smith Warden Inner Guard M Horan Outer Guard Geo Hunt All the officer Elected and appointed were duly installed

The Assessments of Bro Monahan Gorm Smith and Robt Ebbage were allowed for July. Samuel Jessie was granted a final Withdrawal Card Bro Web Thompson was granted a Traveling Card
On motion the Sick Committee were instructed to visit Bro Gorm Smith and procure his signature for the payment of a drug Bill incurred by him in favor of D P Cox
