University Archives offers a variety of duplication services of its holdings. Please use the Request Copy form to submit your request.
Digital Scan

Non-affiliated with ISU
- 1-10 scans per request - $5 per scan
- 11-49 scans per request - $4 per scan
- 50 or more scans per request - Negotiated
- Documents that have already been scanned - $2 per item
Photocopy
On-site request
- 1st 10 copies (excluding copies of photographs) - No charge
- Each copy after 10 and photographs - $0.25
Off-site request
- Copy - $0.50
Fees for Publishing Archives-Held ISU Photographs
- ISU offices and departments for ISU staff, administrators, faculty, and students - No charge
- Not-for-profit publishers - No charge
- For-profit or commercial publishers:
- One-time use of an image - $50
- Use of the image in perpetuity - $200
Archives Staff-Provided Research
- Affiliated with ISU - No charge
- Non-affiliated with ISU 1st hour - No charge
- Each hour after 1st - $15
Photograph Prints
- Price of scan (if unscanned) + $10 per sheet of photograph paper (8.5"x11")

Fees are a partial cost recovery of services provided based on staff time and material use. Fees will be used to fund partially the purchase of preservation materials (acid-free storage containers, chemically inert enclosures for photographs, etc.), replacement of computer hardware and software necessary to provide the above services, and the expansion of the Archives server.
For Archives services, an ISU affiliate is defined as current students, staff, faculty, board members, student organizations, and media of Indiana State University.
Payment
Payment must be received before copies are delivered.
Payment can be made by money order or check.

Warning: The copyright law of the United States governs the making of copies or other reproduction of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for purposes other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a reproduction for purposes in excess of "Fair use", that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
University Archives reserves the right to refuse a copying order, if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve a violation of copyright law.
