New LibGuides [library/research guides]

A new LibGuide has been created on Poverty, Hunger, and Homelessness, for two courses being taught by Professor Linda Maule, PSCI 107 and GH 101. Take a look: Reference/Instruction Librarian Marsha Miller and Professor Maule have worked together on this course/theme for several years, and even did a national presentation on the experience at a 2007 CUMU conference in Baltimore. Now, instead of the resources being locked away in Blackboard, they can be accessed by anyone who searches the LibGuides. A special feature of this guide is an emphasis on finding statistical sources.

Another LibGuide was recently created by Reference/Instruction Librarian, Jake Eubanks, to support SGA-sponsored “Celebrating Diversity” week [November 2-6]. See , created in support of “Religious Pluralism in the U.S. Context.”
