The Bayh College of Education is hosting a delegation from Thailand. They’re spending two weeks in the library researching material for their PhDs.
The delegation is made up of school superintendents, principals and teachers who are attend Roi Et Rajabhat University. The group is headed by Dr. Kriangsak Srisombut, Dean of the College of Education.
Librarian Edith Campbell (Reference/Instruction; Public Services) conducted an instruction session for them.

The only campus event that honors the written or artistic material or performance of ISU’s faculty, staff and students, this year’s 29th annual event will feature ISU faculty and emeriti who published books or created artistic works in 2013. A reception will begin at 3 p.m. with light refreshments. A program featuring Dr. Jack Turman, Jr., Dean of the College of Nursing, Health and Human Services, as the keynote speaker will start at 3:30 p.m.
Following the keynote, reference/instruction librarians serving as liaisons to the academic departments will recognize each individual’s work. The occasion also serves as a place to recognize this year’s Graduate and Undergraduate recipients of the Library’s Bakerman Student Research Award, and their faculty nominators.
