Extravaganza

Tomorrow is the big day.  The Extravaganza starts at 10 AM.  Today is all about preparation (although the meetings for the event started in the Spring semester).  Things are moving around and we have ballons!

I will be live blogging here tomorrow.  Check out the flickr photos.  I’ll be adding them all day.  Also. I’ll have video throughout the day.

Welcome!

Welcome to all the new and returning students.  Be sure to check in with the library blog for news and features about the ISU Library.  The blog has been a little slow since its start back in the spring, but I hope that we will be able to keep it hopping this year.  2008-2009 will be a very interesting year at the library.  It will start off with Extravaganza on September 4 (more on that later).  As the year goes on, we will be making some major changes to the library.  We have already started on the main floor (see the posts about the moves below).

Again, keep checking back, or set up a RSS feed to get updates delivered directly to you.

Chronicle of Higher Education

While the library has back issue of the Chronicle available online, current issues have only been available through LexisNexis (not the most browsing friendly database).  We have just acquired a site license for the Chronicle, so you can now view the current articles on their website.

If this doesn’t work, do a search for the Chronicle here.

A bit of a hiatus

Well, the blog has been quiet for a few months, but now that summer classes are in full swing, we’ll try to keep things updated more regularly.
