Library Staff Publication: David Vancil

Dr. David Vancil has published “My Daughter and I Meet a Dolphin Named Atlas at the Atlantis Resort, Nassau, the Bahamas” in the current issue of Concho River Review, published in San Angelo, Texas. David is a founding member of TACWT (Texas Association of Creative Writing Teachers) with long-standing ties to the state and many of its so-called little magazines. The CRR is one of his favorites. He has at least 6 poems in it.

ISU Librarian Publishes Book Chapter

A book chapter describing the partnership between Interim Chair, Head of Circulation Librarian, Susan Frey and Dr. Rebecca Fielder to design an online graduate course is now available in, Teaching Information Literacy Online.  A press release for the book is at http://www.neal-schuman.com/blog/2010/12/14/experts-reveal-best-practices-for-teaching-information-literacy-online/.
