Library Room Available for It’s On Blue Online Training for Students

The campus goal is to have all students, staff and faculty complete It’s On Blue training NO LATER THAN  September 30. More than 90% of faculty and staff have taken it, and approx. 80% of student have taken it as of 9/25. FAQ FOR STUDENTS

The Library has made its Instruction Classroom (230, 2nd floor, 30 computers) available for anyone to come in an complete the training, which lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.

Of course, anyone is welcome to come during the library’s 24/5 hours to make use of the more than 130 public computers:

  • Saturday, noon – 5 pm
  • Sunday – open at noon

You should bring ear buds or headphones as there are audio files to listen to (a limited supply of headphones are available for check-out from the Circulation Desk.

  • 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (room will be open)

  • 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (room will be open)
  • 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (room will be open)
  • 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (see Circulation staff for access)

April 15 event: Know Your IX: Title IX Panel and Discussion (sexual assault)

7:00-8:30pm in the Library Events Area

Put your Title IX knowledge to the test! This interactive event will feature a panel of university staff members who deal directly with Title IX sexual assault cases on campus. The panel members will share their part in the reporting process and answer questions throughout the event. This event is sponsored by the Dean of Students Office and the Cunningham Memorial Library, and there will be cookies and punch provided.

Oct. 16: Documentary on Sexual Assault in the Military

The Invisible War, an award winning documentary film about sexual assault in the American military, will be shown in the Library Events Area from Thursday, October 16, 2014. Sponsored by the Feminist Majority, Women’s Studies/Gender Studies and the Cunningham Memorial Library.

The Invisible War, an award winning documentary film about sexual assault in the American military, will be shown in the Library Events Area from 4-6pm Tuesday 12 Nov. The film will be over before Take Back the Night events begin in DEDE I. There will be refreshments. Sponsored by Women’s Studies and the Cunningham Memorial Library.
