Taylor is Global Product Manager, Digital Collection Services at OCLC. He has more than 20 years of experience in information technology ranging from information retrieval research to development of information management services. Taylor currently coordinates OCLC’s services supporting the emerging library field of digital content management including OCLC’s Digital Archive service, CONTENTdm hosting service, and the WorldCat Metadata Harvesting Program. He has been active creating standards and best practice in digital preservation through participation in activities such as the METS Editorial Board and the development of the initial public draft of the RLG/NARA Checklist for the Certification of Trusted Digital Repositories. Taylor has a computer science degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
