The Lodge met in regular session.Brother Ebbage was called to the chair and presided over the meeting.
Fred Hood an elected candidate was admitted to full membership in the Lodge.
The following sick benefits were allowed:
Edward Raidy $ 15.00 -- Charles Bennett $ 15.00 Albert Hunt $ 10. 00.
The Committtee in the application of Aaron E. Marshall reported favorably on the applicant . The Committee was discharged, the applicant balloted in and duly elected. M. C. Aaron's formerly of Great Western Lodge No 4 at Meadville Pa - disignized, presented a dispensation from the Grand Lodge to join No 16. The application was balloted for and the application accepted. Death Claims Nos 40 - 41 & 42 were ordered paid on a basis of $19. 00 each. Bro. Southard the newly-elected Financial Secretary tendered his resignation as such, stating that he was unable to attend to the said duties. The resignation was accepted.
Brother O.E. Raidy was requested to tender his resignation as Trustee, in order that he might assume the duties of Financial Secretary. The resignation was accepted and Brother Raidy was unanimously elected as Financial Secretary in place of Brother Southard.
Brother Fred Hood was elected Trustee unanimously to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Brother Raidy.
John C. Maucrest [sic] an expelled member of No 16 was granted permission to join Eureka Lodge No 14, by a unanimous vote of the Lodge.
The Lodge then proceeded with the installation of Officers and all of the newly elected Officers were installed in their respective positions.
The trustees submitted their report for the year 1880-81, certifying to the correctness of the books of the Financial Secretary and Treasurer.
The meeting then adjourned.
