Terre Haute Ind. Sunday Feb 26th 1882

 

The Lodge met in regular session.

Worthy Master Fox occupied the chair. The meeting being opened in due form, the minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.

The following applications for membership were read:

	Will Clatfelter-	Age	22 occupation	fireman - Res. Terre Haute	Indiana

The foregoing applications were referred to a Committee consisting of Bros Benz, Haley and Pat Cronin for investigation.

A bill in favor of Chas. Mayer Indianapolis Ind. in the sum of $1.50 for a ballot box was read and allowed. Death claim # 57 was read and ordered paid on a basis of 84 members - $21.00.

J. H. Quakenbush was proposed for reinstatement -- he having been expelled for non-payment of dues. Owing to mitigating circumstances which were explained by the secretary he was balloted for and reinstated by a unanimous ballot -- he having paid up all arrearages.

A Physician certificate -- certifying to the sickness of J. M. Brannin from Nov 4th to Dec 13 th 1881 was read and referred to the Relief Committee.

The meeting then adjourned.
