The Lodge opened in Regular Session Worthy Master E. V. Debs in the chair The minutes of the previous meeting were Read & approved.

Application for Membership

Frank Mallory & A. Johnson's applications were Read and Refered [sic] to the following committee Frank Larr A Hunt & Henry Lahey

Reports of Committees

The committee to whom was Refered [sic] the applications of Chas Mancourt for membership & Harvey Brunk for Reinstatement Reported favorable signed H. Sacks Wm Sherburne & B. C. Bundy Committee the Report was concurred an [sic] committee discharged

Balloting for Candidates

Chas Mancourt upon being balloted for was declared duly Elected & Harvey Brunk being balloted for was duly Reinstated members of Vigo Lodge No16

Initiation of Candidates

Thomas Shannon H. J. Lacey & Geo H. Young being present and in waiting were duly initiated into the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen

Bills allowed

Bill of 80¢ for ingrediance to protect the carpet from moths & other vermin was allowed
Gas Bill of 25¢ as our portion was allowed

Reports of Special Committees

The Report of the committee appointed at the last meeting of the Lodge Reported that that the Engineers Conductors and Firemen would participate in the ceremonies of Decoration day and join in the procession

On Motion a Committee of one was appointed to act with the Engineers & Conductors in attending service at the Baptist Church in the Eve of June 1st 1884. The chair appointed Bro White

There being no further business the Lodge closed in due form
