Proposed Withdrawals: Indiana State University Library
Bound Journals to be Replaced by JSTOR
The Library Collection Development Committee proposes to withdraw the print copies of CML journals available through JSTOR. Not every title in this collection has to be withdrawn, but significant justification should be included with any requests to retain specific titles. This is NOT a withdrawal, rather a format change. The complete journal is made available, cover-to-cover via JSTOR. Let your liaison know which titles you wish to keep in their PRINT format.
This project is scheduled to begin during Summer 2016; please contact your liaison before that time with any exceptions.
Since library collections serve all the university, we invite teaching faculty to provide us with input. The library has created a web page for faculty comment. Twice each fall and spring semester, the library will post the titles of items that are under consideration for withdrawal, or cancellation. Your comments should be sent directly to your library liaison by May 1, 2016. We have to make difficult decisions on retention and consider your comments in doing so.
The Fall 2016 list will be posted in late August.
