The ProQuest Historical Newspaper database is a powerful tool for searching back issues of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.  This tutorial is designed to provide an overview of the database's features.  It will cover general uses of the database, and most importantly, the basics of searching and dealing with the search results.
