Subject Headings: Using Topic Search

Proquest also has a Topic Guide feature. It allows you to quickly access articles dealing with a particular topic. This feature is useful for brainstorming for paper ideas.

In the example below we have asked the search engine to suggest topics to us by entering "world war 2" and clicking the "Find Term" button. Proquest retrieved a number of possible topics, and gives you the option of either viewing those articles or narrowing the results.
