Authors of trade articles can be practitioners or specialists in their field, or they may be journalists or contributing authors with expertise in a trade field. Generally, the authors of trade articles have practical knowledge of the field. The name(s) of the authors may not be provided for a trade article, so the article would then be considered unsigned.
