Print Indexes & Abstracts

Databases are great for searching, but they don't cover all information. Journals, magazines, and newspapers have been around a long time, but these databases have only been around for a few years. Most databases only cover the last 20 years or so.

If, for example, you want a magazine article written during WWII, you may have to use a print index! ISU has the print version of the Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature dating to 1890 located in the reference stacks.
