Plagiarism may be listed as a subject heading, but other subject headings listed (such as cheating, ethics, honesty and dishonesty) could also be relevant.

Each database assigns its own subject headings, so there is no guarantee that a subject heading in one database will be the same heading used in another. That is why it is so important to start searches in every new database with a general keyword search.
