What Turnitin Does

Turnitin's database includes term papers and other sources available via the Internet, term papers submitted by students at Indiana State and at other schools, and articles in ProQuest databases.

Turnitin allows students enrolled in your courses to submit their written assignments to its database. Turnitin compares those papers to papers in its database and returns to you an "originality report" which highlights strings of text that match.
