Introduction

ISI Web of Science

Don't let the name fool you. ISI Web of Science is a multidisciplinary indexing database, useful to writers and historians as well as chemists and engineers. Web of Science directs the user to articles from scholarly journals in his or her field. More importantly, though, it includes the references cited by authors in their research.

At the end of this tutorial, you will know how to use the various search options in Web of Science, including its most unique search feature - citation searching.

Enjoy.
