Indiana State University is celebrating Constitution Day (officially September 17) with several events over several days. On Tuesday, September 14, the Library Events area will be the venue for a Constitution Day Teach-in AND the first Pizza/Politics student event of the year! Reference/Instruction Librarian, Marsha Miller, has begun building two of our LibGuides to support these campus events. September 28, 4pm Roger Newman: Professor Newman wrote ‘Hugo Black: A Biography’ (1994; won the Scribes Book Award; finalist for Pulitzer Prize); co-author: Banned Films: Movies, Censors and the First Amendment (1982); editor-in-chief of “The Constitution and Its Amendments (1999); Editor, Yale Biographical Dictionary of American Law (1999). Currently finishing book on President Clinton’s Supreme Court appointments. The ISU Library has a copy of Hugo Black at KF 8745 .B55 N49 1994.
